Delivery Policy
This Delivery Policy explains how the Charge Buddy power bank rental service is delivered, where it is available, and the conditions that apply when you rent and return a power bank.
1. Nature of Service
Charge Buddy provides a self-service power bank rental facility through Charge Buddy charging cabinets placed at partner locations. We do not provide home delivery or courier delivery of power banks.
2. Where the Service Is Available
Users can rent and return power banks only from active Charge Buddy cabinets shown in the app or by scanning the QR code on a Charge Buddy machine.
3. Service Delivery Time
Charge Buddy is an instant, self-service rental — there is no shipping or courier delivery. After a successful order or payment confirmation, the power bank is normally released immediately, typically within 1–2 minutes, from the selected cabinet.
If the cabinet fails to release a power bank within this time, the order is automatically cancelled and the user may receive a full refund after verification (see our Refund Policy).
4. Availability Conditions
Release of a power bank depends on conditions such as:
- The device (cabinet) being online
- Power bank availability
- Cabinet slot condition
- Store opening hours
- Payment confirmation
- Minimum battery level of the power bank
5. Return Rules
The user must return the power bank to an authorized Charge Buddy cabinet. The rental ends only when the system successfully records the return.
6. User Responsibility
The user is responsible for the power bank from the time it is released until it is successfully returned. Late return, non-return, loss, or damage may result in additional charges according to the displayed pricing policy.
7. Pricing Visibility
Before and during a rental, the app makes the applicable charges visible, which may include:
- Deposit amount
- Free time
- Rental rate
- Daily cap
- Overtime / lost-power-bank charge
- Any applicable coupon or discount
